1. General Kantardzhievo is a village in Aksakovo Municipality, Varna Region, Northeastern Bulgaria. During the Ottoman period, the village was called Chaush Koy. During the Romanian domination of Southern Dobrudja, the border village fell into the Kingdom of Romania and was renamed Vanatori. On June 20, 1929, an attack and attempted arbitrariness by Romanian colonists against the inhabitants of the village was registered. Since June 27, 1942, the village has been named General Kantardzhievo, in honor of Lieutenant General Todor Kantardzhiev.
