The church "Holy Ascension of the Lord" was consecrated in 1899, with the wealthier residents of the village donating the first icons. The church was renovated mainly at the beginning of the 21st century. The beautifully renovated church of the village of Slanchevo can be called one of its symbols. The first icons were donated then by the wealthier residents. This is what happens now - people with opportunities become donors for the painting of the steppes.
